"He certainly would be an excellent choice," Nakresh nodded, stroking his long braided beard. "But it would be cruel to ask him to part with his wife and children. What about Tirion or Darion? Or High Overlord Saurfang? It would truly be a loss to the Horde to give him up, but he is wise, and strong, two necessary qualities."

"Well, Tirion need not keep the Ashbringer. It is Darion's blade, give it back to its owner, I say," Nakresh nodded.

"You make a good point, Alister..." Nakresh nodded. "I am certain not the wisest among the orcs, or even the wisest at this table, and I am certainly not the most qualified to choose the next Lich King, but I think that if anyone could handle the burden, Fordring would be the best choice."

Tarok stared at the gnome for a few seconds before speaking.
"No one shall take over as the Master of Undeath. Aslong as he is alive they are in check, am i correct?". People around the table nodded, confusingly. "Well we know that 'Frostmourne' and his armor are the source of his power. If we could somehow separate either from his body and keep him alive, surely that would work, wouldn't it?"

"I am no expert," Nakresh admitted, "but I do not believe that would work. Arthas' body is a vessel, a fount for the the energies of the Lich King to reside in. Like his frozen prison before, it is a method of containing his energies. The body is more desirable because it is mobile. However, if one would seperate the sword and armor from the body, I believe the body would return to a lifeless state and the energy would be let to seep out, leaving the Scourge without a controller. What to you Death Knights think? Surely you'd know better than I."

Having been here since the begining but chose to remain silent finally stands up. Brushing raven black back out of his face while glancing around with emerald green eyes. He looks wise beyond his years and has many small scars scattered across his old face. He wears red robes made from spellcloth with the old Lordaeron banner surrounded by flames.
"I for one say we just destroy the Lich King and deal with scrouge after. The scrouge are only deadly because they are hive minded like a colony of bee's. Take out the "queen" and they are lost."
Still looking around at the others as he sits back down but continues to speek.
"The only real scrouge threat will the the death knights that remained with the Lich King and the Liches as well. Take out those to groups as well as the Lich King and the mindless ones will scatter to the point of be harmless and easy pickings. I do not feel we should give up any good natured hero or leader to the possible corruption of power."
Finally he leans back in his chair falling silent once agian.

"It could work. The Lich King needs undeath the further his plans. If the outside of the Citadel were to be cleared, us druids could get to work on the healing process. The land is yet beyond saving."
