Without knowing much about next hero class, and just based on how DK's have turned out, will you create the next class introduced?
The question isn't intended to see if you'll create it, do initial quests and be done with it. But if you'll play it to some extent, as either your main or alt leveled to the highest level available.
I'm thinking that I won't play one.
Hard to describe as to why, I do thing the DK is a great class, but at the same time there seems to be drama created by it, and people turn on class rather quickly.

There's no actual proof that blizzard will introduce another hero class, maybe they will do something new.
First Expansion: New Races!
Second Expansion: New Class!
Third Expansion: ?
Point is, most likely they may end up trying something completely new, like... maybe adding a new talent tree to all classes? I don't know, just making something up.
On topic: If blizzard did release a new class, I'd play it for 2 days, then go back to my main and never touching that new guy again.

For me it would depend on the class. If the class sounds like fun then I may play it as an alt. I haven't played DK except for 15 min or so in beta and I don't feel like I am missing out on something.

Current thinking is we would like to release one with each new expansion. We want to really focus on balancing the Death Knight into the game with all the other classes and new abilities that go along with that.

And to answer the OP, I would play a new Hero class through the opening quest line and continue on if I found it fun during that quest line.

The next Hero Class will be a healer type class and start out at level 65 at character creation.

Hmm, three different healing talent trees, bubbly, hotty, and bursty! They would have various DPS talents too of course.

The idea of having a hero class entirely dedicated to healing is just awesome to me. No DPS, no tanking, just flat out healing. Sure, you can down mobs solo, but you're not going to be doing 13k DPS come the next expansion. I've long wanted a dedicated healing class in this game. If we can have dedicated damage dealers, why not healers/tanks?

I hope you don't mind me asking, but do you see the future?
Nope, just predicting the next "idea" based on what we know previously.
Before WotLK, there was a lack of tank classes. Thus DK's were put in as the 4th viable tank. Also they started at lvl 55 based on having to get to Outlands shortly after.
So the next Hero class will include a class that is lacking, which are healers atm. And since it's after WotLK they should be starting at lvl 65.

Not really. 1/3 of the classes being able to tank != lack of tank classes.
Oh, sure, there were fewer tank classes than the other archtypes, but there was no lack.

Not really.
4 Tanks.
4 Healers.
10 DPSers.

In TBC, there were 3 tanking classes but raids primarily used Warriors as MT's. Paladins were mainly used for OTs and Bear tanks didn't come into full fruiation until WotLK.
To offset this, they introduced another Tank class and made all the other ones viable. Same stories for the healers, but generally on 25 man raids there are more spots for healers.
Taking a 25 slot raid, there are usually 2 to 3 tank spots. Then there are generally 5 to 6 healers (maybe more). Healers will be in more demand than tanks, and there are plenty of dps pures as well as hybrids already. Healers are what is lacking atm so there's a good chance the next Hero class will be a healer.
Also just look at the Legendary weapon from Ulduar, healing weapon.

Source? My guild's MT and main OT were a Druid and Paladin.

Look at the Legendary weapons from BC. None of them are any good for a DK. This point is invalid.
