This is the Warlords of Draenor Timewalking (TW) event, one of the weekly bonus Timewalking Dungeon events. Other ones are the Burning Crusade TW event which comes 3-4 weeks after this one, the Wrath of the Lich King TW event which comes 7 weeks after this one, the Cata TW event 10-11 weeks after with this one, and finally the MoP TW event after 14 weeks, making a full cycle 17/18 weeks before this returns again. ~Calendar of world events.

During this Timewalking dungeon event, if you are over level 101, you can queue for a random of 6 available 'Timewalking' WoD dungeons in the dungeon interface or adventure journal. While in a TW dungeon, your ilvl will be scaled down to an appropriate ilvl and your effective level is 100 for any gear effects that might scale down for a higher level meaning things like legion legendaries work again and can be quite powerful.

Rewards:

All loot from TW bosses is the usual personal loot, with trash drops being the regular heroic loot table.
Timewarped gear drops from all these dungeon bosses, replicating their usual loot in a rare quality item that scales to an appropriate ilvl for your level, up to 365 at lvl 120 with a single chance to warforge +15 ilvl unlike regular warforging. However, unlike Heirlooms, Timewarped gear does not scale as you level up once you own the item, only to an appropriate level at the time of acquisition.
Each boss also has an extremely low chance to drop Reins of the Infinite Timereaver!
Any characters with Heart of Azeroth also receive 30 Azerite off each boss, or 40 off the final boss as well.

During the event any lvl 120s can also pick up the quest A Savage Path Through Time from your dungeon journal or Chronicler Shoopa (H) |Chronicler Toopa (A) to finish 5 Timewalking Dungeons for a normal quality current raid tier loot box and 750 Azerite (Although this particular event appears to be missing the azerite?). Be sure to hand it in before 5:00 on Tuesday (US) / Wednesday (EU) else the quest is removed from your quest log

Timewarped Badge are awarded at 5 per boss with 10 from the final boss and 10 dungeon completion bonus, with an extra 50 if you have the Call to Arms bonus. There is also an additional 500 from the quest The Shimmering Crystal you can complete once per TW event from Shimmering Timewarped Crystal which always drops from the final boss of the first instance you do each event, with an equivalent item for each TW event.

Timewarped Badge can then be used to buy some WoD-related items from Kronnus|Tempra located near the inns in Warspear/Stormshield during this TW event, and other expansion themed items from vendors only visible during their respective events (+an extra 24 hours) as well; all vendors sell decent catch-up gear, rep tokens and some exclusive collectible items such as Bridle of the Ironbound Wraithcharger and Reins of the Eclipse Dragonhawk which cost 5000 Timewarped Badge each.

The Deaths of Chromie Scenario provides an additional source of badges, with 450 Timewarped Badge coming from one-time only quests. Additionally, during any Timewalking event, doing the scenario and using any Sands of Time you loot occasionally have the chance to offer you 10 badges as a reward. This is perhaps the fastest way to obtain badges after the weekly 500 badge quests.

Being as it is a tremendous amount of badges to collect for all the rewards, it is highly recommended that you attempt to farm the badges primarily through the weekly quest items granting 500 badges each, and if you wish to expedite acquisition, doing the quest on multiple alts and buying an item each as they're all BoA is a good idea to save your sanity grinding out the dungeons endlessly. As there are 2 TW events per 7 weeks and you get the weekly quest item from the first dungeon, you can get approximately ~1070 badges every 7 weeks, per alt with only 1 dungeon completed each event or ~1400 if you only complete 5 dungeons for the weekly path quest each event.

This event is a fantastic opportunity to do the really time consuming reputation part (Tanaan Diplomat|Tanaan Diplomat) of Draenor Pathfinder, which rewards the unique ability to fly in Draenor for all characters on your account! This rep usually takes three weeks of dailies, but is much easier to farm during this Timewalking event, don't miss out!

Only during this event (+24 hours) can you can buy the three BoA faction rep tokens for 50 Timewarped Badge from Kronnus|Tempra located near the inns in Warspear/Stormshield during the event, and each token grants 300 rep with the respective faction.
Commendation of the Order of the Awakened,Commendation of the Saberstalkers (though this rep is very easy to grind) and Commendation of Vol'jin's Headhunters (H)/Commendation of the Hand of the Prophet (A)
are the reps you'll need to get to revered for Pathfinder.

Make sure you use the rep tokens in Draenor while you have a level 3 Trading post active as you get +20% bonus xp from them. You could also save the tokens to use during a Darkmoon Faire for a further +10%.

You'll need 21k rep for Revered from 0/3000 neutral which is 210 tokens (10.500 badges) total at 70 (3,500 badges) per faction, (or 177 (8,850 badges) at 59 (2,950) per faction with the level 3 Garrison trading post). However, you don't really need to get Saberstalkers rep as it's quite easy to grind, so it's effectively only two factions you need to use the rep tokens on.

With the trading post, and with WHEE! from the DMF if you save the tokens for it, that's only 108 tokens for 5,400 badges; you need only 54 tokens/2,700 badges each rep, minus any quests you could do or Medallion of the Legion used of course, and if you do a little bit of grinding with the Saberstalkers.

The best way to obtain the Timewarped Badges is to simply run a timewalking dungeon one time on a bunch of lvl 100+ characters as you get a 500 badge bonus the first time you complete one each event and since these tokens are BoA, you can just funnel them to one character! After that, grinding dungeons or the Deaths of Chromie scenario during TW events is your next best bet.

You can always use badges from the other Timewalking events too but be warned, you won't be able to buy these commendations again until the next WoD Timewalking, which won't return for at least 17 weeks!

For those of you who want to take advantage of Timewalking Dungeon Event in order to catch up on rep,
I've compiled a brief list with farming methods for each faction (horde), from fastest to slowest.

Some tips in general:

choose a class with high mobility and aoe (druid, hunter, mage), preferably Night Fae for the blink.
make sure to have a tier 3 trading post in your garrison to get Trading Pact.
complete missing quest that might award rep (check the addon BtWQuest: Warlords of Draenor).
skip looting.

Steamwheedle Preservation Society
Effort: low
Zone: northern Nagrand
Rep source: treasure chests & rares
Strategy: search for Highmaul Reliquarys and kill the rare beasts along the way; the content of both the chests and the rares award a huge chunk of rep; since Highmaul Relic are account-wide you can continue farming on alts on different servers.

Frostwolf Orcs
Effort: low-medium
Zone: Magnarok, Frostfire Ridge (north-east)
Rep source: rares & mobs
Strategy: focus on the rares in the area as those award a huge chunk of rep, go for the bigger gronns afterwards before you start grinding the smaller mobs.

The Saberstalkers
Effort: medium
Zone: Fang'rila, Tanaan Jungle (central-south)
Rep source: daily, rares & mobs
Strategy: do the daily first; focus on the rares in the area afterwards as those award a huge chunk of rep before you start grinding the smaller mobs.

Arakkoa Outcasts
Effort: medium-high (1k rep = ~3m30sec)
Zone: Lost Veil Anzu, Spires of Arak (west)
Rep source: mobs
Strategy: start off in the area south where the ogres are and move your way up north to clear the 3 goblin camps; return back south to the ogres (they respawn pretty fast) and repeat (ignore the cave).

Laughing Skull Orcs
Effort: high
Zone: The Pit, Gorgrond (north)
Rep source: rares & mobs
Strategy: stick to the outer circle of the pit as the groups down below don't award rep; focus on the rares in the area first, go for the elites and laborers afterwards.

Order of the Awakened & Vol'jin's Headhunters
Effort: high
Zone: Vol'mar, Tanaan Jungle (central)
Rep source: daily & rep tokens
Strategy: apart from the few daily quests, there isn't really a way to farm rep for these two factions; I'd advise doing the dailies for the duration of the event (one week) and fill up the rest with Commendation of the Order of the Awakened/Commendation of Vol'jin's Headhunters.*

*The fastest way to get these is to do a timewalking dungeon on all of your eligible alts. There is a one-time quest at the end of your first succesful run that will award 500 Timewarped Badge when handed in. With those badges you can buy 10x Commendation of the Order of the Awakened, each awarding 300 reputation = 3000 rep in total (per alt).

If you just hit lvl 60, didn't get boosted, and STILL don't have the option to do TW dungeons, check your ilvl. Minimum 180 is required before the option will be available.

Timewalking Dungeon Event

While this event is active, players level 40 or higher may access a special Timewalking Dungeon Finder queue, which scales players and their items down to revisit past dungeons from the Warlords of Draenor expansion. While Timewalking, bosses will yield loot appropriate for a player's natural level.
