It appears this is crafted by Tailors however BoE and does not require tailoring to wear.

If you are not fussed about Spirit or Spell Crit it is a great general Healers cloak.

Hmm they dont seem to specify what lvl tailoring you must have.. is there one and if so what is it cause its seems like quite a good cloak to lvl off when you are one of first people on server with it.. and can make a profit! and lvl tailoring fast cause demand will be high and you will be there making good cash :D

also this seems like one of the best healing cloaks (priest wise) Pre - Naxx so seems quite useful for healers to grab this because it isn't to expensive. the other cloak that would be worth getting would be https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=37799 which i found and picked up fast out of the AH its a good cloak to keep an eye out for if this one is to expensive for your liking or just prefer a socket :)

To be honest, this is the best cloak pre-25man raiding for healers, particularly restoration shaman.

The biggest problem I'd been having in heroics and raids is mana regen, and this cloak with it's 20mp5 helps vastly to bump your stats to enough so that your not stopping for a drink every pull (Annoying as)

I <3 this cloak..until a better one comes along ofc :P

I just made this cloak today and I farmed most of the mats myself. Heres what I did...
Eternal Lifes: I farmed these from Thornvine Creepers in Howling Fjord. It took me about 150 kills to get all of the erternals. (Being a holy priest it took me a while longer than other DPS caster could do it)
Eternal Waters: Ok... I cheated on these a little and bought them because my server was selling them for 10g a peice. Ofc this is option, to buy or farm, depends on your server and the AH prices.
Siren's Tear: I took a ride down to Borean Tundra and went to the murloc questing area just west of Bor'Gorok Outpost. From there I collected 100 clams on the beach. It's not as bad as it sounds it didn't take me any longer than an hour. Then I went to the vendor Ahlurglgr and bought the Siren's Tear. If it is not there is it out of stock at the time but will respawn in about 2.5 hours.
Frozen Orb: You cannot farm these alone, but they do drop in many heroics off different bosses. Also you can trade 10 Emblems of Heroism for one.
And obviously the imbued frostweave cloth was made from 75 frostweaves annd 10 infinite dust as someone before me said.

Overall this cape was worth the time and money in my opinion. It's great for a healer trying to get geared for 25 mans and I would recommend getting it.

Im just wondering is there a similar reward for say tank classes or melee dps? Seems like tailors and casters are making out with the achievement rewards here.

Hmm.. anyone else notice the lack of spirit on this cloak? I can't seem to understand why so many priests have posted about this cloak. As a resto shaman, this cloak seems Ideal for gearing up for raiding. 20 mp5 is great, and the mats for this are decently easy to farm, so i don't have to compete with another cloth user who needs it in a heroic or something.

I don't know, maybe this cloak is attractive for priests because its decently simple to get, and the stats are good (for a shaman at least). But i believe this is more of a shaman cloak than any other class (except maybe a paladin).

please don't downrate this post because your a priest and love the cloak.

I'm a resto druid and have been using a decently gemmed https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=37799. I picked up a Wisdom enchanted Wispcloak fairly cheap on the AH, but so far have been disappointed. It's a very minor upgrade for the price I paid, and I even have slightly less regen in the end.

If you have a spirit build, I would consider farming or purchasing https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=37799 and put a decent gem in there instead. Chances are it'll be much cheaper.

I had this cloak made by a guildie for my Shaman who is going resto at 80. While he was leveling I saved all the Frostweave cloth he picked up. My main is an enchanter so I DE'd all the BOE garbage that he picked up. I already had some E-Water and E-Life left over from other projects. My sister is a skinner so I asked her for that part. My main had a bunch of Frozen Orb's saved up because I'm smart enough to realize that you shouldn't sell things you might need later on.

Total cost for me to craft this epic cloak for my Shaman

Really good for a Shaman and if you think ahead a little bit you can make it for next to nothing.

This cloak is likely the best you can find for a Holy Paladin prior to raiding.
Aside from the rather cheap cost (if you find some of the harder materials yourself) this cloak has a nice amount of both Stamina and Intellect, important platepriest stats. The 20Mp5 and lack of spirit makes it nice for us, since spirit is useless for us. It also hands us a hefty amount of spellpower, 59 plus 9 or 10 from talents.

All in all, I'd recommend this cloak to any Holy Paladin in heroics or entering raiding.

Mats cost around 450g in Chromaggus EU and i cant even sell this for 400g so make sure your server dont have much retards before even trying to sell this or you will get pathetic offers -.-

First this cloak is not just good for one class but my toon, of a warlock, was greatly benefited by this cloak. But what I came here to talk about, was the comment made about "opportunity cost".

For the heck of it. (except for the frozen orb of which I had already) I went ahead and timed myself via the stop watch of how long it was going to take me to gather just enough of the mats for this cloak. My first comment about this for everyone. This isn't going to work for everyone, unless you know exactly where to farm and plan your paths to each place properly.

The time it took me to get the mats for one of these was 1h 42min, 32 secs.

I then went to the AH on the server I play on and priced all the mats there. Total gold cost for the mats, including frozen orb was 489g. I then looked at what this cloak was going for. Base price was 500g

Now I spent a little less than 2 hours gathering mats. Would have been about 4 hours had I had to run a heroic for the frozen orb.

Even then, had it taken me 4 hours, it would have taken a far longer time to recoup (if I could sell all the mats) any gold on those mats. Certainly more than four hours! Sure I could have made 489g, but it still would have cost me out of pocket so to speak a minimum of 11 more gold.

While I understand well the concept of "opportunity cost", it only works in therory and not practicality most of the time.

Fact is, at least on my server, the 2 to 4 hours to farm the mats for this, far outweighs the days perhaps it would have taken for me to get the gold via selling those same mats and then to turn around and hope the cloak was still on the ah at that time to buy. In the end, in 1h 42min 32secs I made the cloak. I didn't have to wait for a day or longer to sell my mats, only to have to dig into pocket another 11g. Sure I could have priced my items a bit higher to recoup the 11 gold, but then it could have meant I didn't sell the mats at all.

In short, unless you are farming specifically for the AH instead of just making this cloak or any other item, you're not going to miss any opportunity by farming the mats for a single item. You will miss out on the opportunity to mayget something though if you don't farm for the 4 hours. Of course! there are other benifits to farming for the items other than just the mats. If you for instance had to do a heroic to get the frozen orb, you could end up with a better piece for your toon or a piece you could sell on the AH for 500g. In which case, you would profit in two ways. One you would have the mats to make your own cloak if you still wanted to, you would have a better piece from a drop for your toon, or you could sell said drop for whatever profit you could get out of it on the AH. Farming is a win win win oportunity.

Nope the oportunity you miss in in farming for mats. since Blizzard has in place world drops and garbage mats to vendor. So farm away folks! If you don't, you're missing a whole lot of opportunity.

Darn nice cloak this one is.

I'd also like to add, that it doesn't factor in coin drops, grey items and greens. Or finding nodes of what your proff is (herb nodes, mines) or the random ganking.

Regarding the upcoming Transmogrification feature (and RP in general), this would be the cloak worn by most of the Argent Crusaders who wear cloaks (Argent Vanguard and the Tournament Grounds).

Just thought I'd throw that out there.
