It seems that if you don't continue on with the adventures in time it resets your progress. I completed Breach the Planes and Ghelak's Revenge, but missed Coalescing Stygia, I then got Breach the Planes again, this time as a level 31.

Has anyone gotten any of these outside of the top 4 to spawn? I clear missions relentlessly and I keep getting the same 4 (Ghelak/Planes/Stygia/Giants) over and over.

I completed sucsuessfully "Coalescing Stygia" but it didin count for the ACM. The next Mission i Get was "Topple the Giants" now the stygia mission is forever gone... Please Blizzard fix your game...

Does anyone know if it's possible to do the lowest level missions with a level 48 or 60 table? I wasn't able to beat the level 20 "Maw: Breach the Planes" before Venthyr got buffed, and now after the buff my only soul ash mission is the level 40 "Maw: Coalescing Stygia"

the moment i got my first adventurer to level 51. I got a new one dark skies, darker prospects. for 500 stygia that u have to complete in 10 turns or u die to a one shot ability.

Am I the only one that has been getting level 60 versions of the first four quests, which aren't prefixed by 'Maw:', since getting my first adventurer to 51?

Do I have to somehow get past these before I start getting the 'Maw:' versions of the others to progress with this achievement?

I have some of my adventures on lvl 55 and one on 56 still I can only complet frist 7 mission maybe last 3 for 60lvl adventures only.
I have command table lvl 3 no effect on this.

I have multiple level 60 followers and have only seen the first 4 missions. I waited until 60 due to other reports suggesting this was required to complete the full achievement. I completed the first 4 sequentially before they cycled back to the start.

Edit: appears to be progressing as intened in latest patch

Today I got Dravok's Plot; which will put me at 6/10. Not sure what triggered it, I had just come out of Torghast but nothing special or new happened.
EDIT: I have no lv60 followers, currently have all followers between 49 and 52.

I just recently got 5 followers to 60. Once I had 5, my next mission was Cutting the Threads. I completed that, and then I received Shades of Despair.

It's possible that 5 at 60 is required for the later missions in the achievement to show up. I was stuck at 7/10 missions for awhile even with 3 60s.

I also made sure to complete every Maw mission even if it was a duplicate. Just continue completing them and leveling your guys.

4/22/21 update: 10th mission has popped up. It's highly likely you need 5 followers at 60 for the last few to show up.

Venthyr here. I've 10/17 followers at lvl 60 and besides the first 4 i got Dark Skies and Dravok's Plot. It seems to be super random.

28/05 Tomorrow I'll have 12 followers at 60 and i'm currently doing Dravok's Plot once again. I'll update the next one if appears once i get 12 at 60.

Maybe we need all 17 to be at 60 to get the other missions.

Does anyone who covenant swapped have any problems progressing with this achiv? Ive had 5 lvl 60s for well over 2 months now, and the game refuses to give me any missions past "Dark Skies, Dark Prospects". Any fellow players struggeling with this, or any advice on what to do; is it a bug, do I just need to spam missions and pray, etc. Thanks!

Kyrian here, I've stayed on top of missions and have all 17 companions, all at level 60 now (have been for almost two weeks). I also completed all of the campaign missions, but have only gotten the first four missions for this. Nothing new popped up once I got everyone to 60 or when I completed the campaign. I use Venture Plan, I can see that I'm at 20/20 on campaign.

This achievement is a grind. I have for a few months now had all 17 followers and for the last 2-3 months have been doing these Maw missions whenever they spawn whether I've done them already or not. Yet I only ever get the first 4 missions appear. I had thought it was related to the number of followers at L60, but these have been steadily increasing and I now have 9 followers at L60 but still not getting available missions to move on. For now, I'm continuing to grind mission table 2-3 times a day, upgrading more followers to L60 and doing all available Maw adventures and will update this post if I make any progress

Update #1: my working theory is that each mission for this achievement needs a combination of followers reaching a certain level combined with possible time gating and/or RNG as to which of 'available' missions will spawn (since the comment from sngmtokos suggests Dark Skies can spawn at L51). FYI: other than the 9 at L60, today my followers <L60 are Master Sha'lor L59, Qadarin L57, Duskleaf L56, Watcher Vesperboom L56, Lloth'wellyn L55, Karynmwylyann L54, Groonoomcrooek L53 and Croman L53

Update #2: week 7 since levelling my first follower to L60 and still only getting missions from the first four. I now have 10 followers at L60. My new working theory is that a very specific follower needs to reach L60 to move me on

Update #3: week 7. I've changed covenants from Night Fae to Kyrian. Interestingly although it's offered me a Maw adventure from the top 4 again, it's also offered me advancement (my Venture Plan addon says I'm now on 21). Maybe that will help spawn the needed adventures. Also, I've raised a ticket but GM just says no known bug

Update #4: two months have passed. My change of covenants meant my new followers were too low level for a few weeks to really farm this achiev, but I have gained one more of the missions this week (I have two L60 followers and the rest L59 down to L8). So I'm concluding as Xirev says below that this is indeed just RNG and once you've maxed your mission table (still level 20 in patch 9.1 I think) you should do the Maw missions whenever they're up. GL

Update #5: another two months have passed. I've changed covenants again for other reasons (now Venthyr...so third covenant on this achiev) and carried on doing Maw adventures whenever they popped and this week gained one more of the rare adventures that I needed (so now 7/10 done). My conclusion is that covenant change makes no difference, it's just a case of doing Maw adventures whenever they're up and praying to the gods of RNG

I have 10 60s and 7 under 60 and I have everything but the Krala mission completed. Who knows?

I believe it is completely rng everyone. I have only 2 followers at 50 and all others are from 49 to 45. My troops are level 49, and I am Kyrian. I faced a bug when I had coalescing stygia, and I reported it to the devs (the mission disappeared from my table 2 days before the "time remaining" it had and never appeared to me again and the support team did nothing about it really, as they said they can't refund or provide missions/soul ash/stygia.

Anyway, long story short, I almost have this achievement now. I just kept completing the ones the table gave me and after that I believe it is all RNG. I completed the mount missions, and after that only these mainly. I have everything other than Coalescing Stygia (due to bug) and Krala, Wings of Woe. So technically if Coalescing Stygia didn't bug out for me, I would have Krala, Wings of Woe left only.

For the record:

I completed around 15-20 "Breach the Planes/Ghelak's Revenge"

other than that, Dravok's Plot and Topple the Giants showed up for me around 7-8 times.

Everything else (Grandiose Designs, Dark Skies, Darker Prospects, Cutting the Threads and Shades of Despair) only showed up once.

So all in all, it is completely about rng, as I don't think I did anything special other than just completing the missions as they spawn and missing almost none.

The rarer missions are fairly easy btw, so don't worry about completing them. The hardest part is getting them and as far as I understand, they are nerfed to ground since 9.0.5. and the last 4 campaign mount missions are harder. (especially for Kyrian)

I'm looking forward to getting Krala, Wings of Woe! :) and I wish you all blessings from RNG gods.

EDIT: Got my achievment on 7.07.21. right before the release of SoD raid. Done with it at last!

I thought it was weird that I only had the first four completed on this even with everyone on lvl 60 and seeing "Breach the Planes" like 20 times so I made a ticket and asked a GM if it's purely RNG.
It is. RNGesus just doesn't like me.

Night fae, done the missions from the start of the adventure table with all original followers at max, 4 new ones from 9.1 closing in on 60. Done every single maw mission available and so far got the 5th mission Dark skies 1.5 months ago. Not expecting to get this achievement this expansion since the RNG is just fun.

I have all 21 Venthir companions at level 60. I've completed over 1000 missions, and still have yet to see "Shades of Despair" or "Krala, Wings of Woe". I have a friend who gets Shades of Despair constantly, with only 7 companions, none at 60. This adventure table makes absolutely no sense. It's obviously not random. There are triggers somewhere, and I have a suspicion they are in Torghast. I have found that If I skip Torghast for a week or two, no maw adventures pop up at all. Zero. Yet as soon as I do Torghast, one or two immediately populate the table. I'm truly starting to think there's something to it.

Edit: Finished 10-18-21. Looks like there may be something to my theory. I started running Torghast like mad for the Flawless 12's meta. I'm seeing maw adventures much more often now. Got the ones I was missing within 2 weeks.

I've been frustrated, as have many, by the 'rarity' of some of these missions. I wasn't aware there would be any type of 'requirement' other than leveling the companions and doing the missions but that may not be the case. I finally have the Dark Skies, Darker Prospects mission. What did I do different? I went into the Maw and killed a bunch of the mobs listed in the mission. I'll be trying this for the other missions as well in the hopes of getting them to pop up when the Dark Skies mission is done.

If this turns out to be the 'missing ingredient', I'll be quite disappointed in Blizzards incredible lack of Support in this matter. Case in point... how exactly would a player know to kill mobs in the Maw to get missions to show up except by complete luck?

Thought I'd chip in with my observations of this achievement.

Facts:
I have all except Krala, Wings Of Woe and it has been this way for months. I have zero followers at 60. Kyrian covenant. My highest is 58 (the tanks) and my lowest (from 9.1) is 28. The vast majority are 55 or 56. The level of Coalescing Stygia (which is available for me to take) is 60+.
My Necrolord alt is in the same boat, with marginally lower level dudes (but with the frankly broken-in-a-good-way Plaguey).

Thoughts:
I *think* I received Krala as an adventure ages ago, but failed it, as I wasn't paying much attention to the quests back then, but I cannot be sure. No idea what triggered it. I'm a creature of habit with limited time, so maybe I was doing something during lockdown that I don't have time to do now. Maybe I'm mis-remembering.

I shall return should things change.

I got theory about appearance missions on table.
It depends on killing creatures in maw.
I got mission "Krala, Wings Of Woe" at 17 september. I lost it.
Several days ago i notice that Krala its a real rare mob in maw - Krala
Last 3 days i kill only Krala in maw. I didnt kill any other creature. Yesterday i got mission "Krala, Wings Of Woe" again.

I guess for mission "Cutting the Threads" you need kill Dolos - Dolos

Check this pls and let me know if it works.

The last mission (Krala, Wings of Woe) finally popped up for me, so I was able to complete this after 11 months of sending missions every day (Shadowlands released last year, Nov 23). I had long had every companion at level 60, including the 5 new ones added in Patch 9.1.

I recall the Krala mission popping up once before, but my followers were under 60 and nowhere strong enough to complete it.

At the time the mission finally popped up, I had been ignoring activities in the Maw as well as Korthia. I couldn't say it's tied to any activity because I hadn't been doing any, except going to Korthia to see if "Oozing with Character" is up.

Krala, Wings of Woe and Dravok's Plot both popped up for me today. I haven't completed any of the Maw adventures for ages or done anything else much either; just been sending regular missions and doing the Ember Court once per week. Perhaps they increased the chances those missions will show up in the latest patch that went live today in EU.

Random tip, you can start those you already done with your current covenant then swap to another which will reset the missions you sent, come back to your covenant with mission table, ur mission will be reset with new ones sometimes the same or others from the maw ones :D

This was too long for a response, but to clarify the process @Masai mentioned in his comment, here's how to cycle through Maw Missions in 9.1.5 with the ability to hop between covenants.

NOTES:
- If you assign Croman or Meatball (neutral followers) alone on a mission, it will not reset when you change covenants - do not use them in this process.
- If you don't currently have 2 Maw Missions up, you can assign one follower to each mission to reset them all - if you don't mind burning the anima.

Step 1: Assign any (non-neutral) followers to each of your Maw missions, doesn't matter if they'll succeed.
Step 2: Go to Oribos and change covenant. Immediately change back to your covenant. You will not lose anything except missions in progress.
Step 3: You'll now have two new random Maw missions and all of your followers available to use. If you did not get the mission you wanted, proceed to Step 4.
Step 4: Assign one low level (non-neutral) follower to each of the first two Maw missions you received and send them out.
Step 5: You'll immediately get two new random Maw Missions and your strongest followers should be available for assignment.
Step 6: If you did not get the mission you wanted, repeat from Step 2.

The reason for using one low level follower each on Step 4 is to assure your "A Team" of strong followers will be available if you get the mission in Step 5.

It looks like these are tied to the "Campaign" adventures. I did the maw adventure "Coalescing Stygia" at least a dozen times in a row but could never get to the next maw adventure. After I did the campaign adventure the next maw adventure "Toppling the Giants" appeared.

Jan 18, 2022 - just completed the achievement with 21 companions - Krala, Wings of Woe was the last to show up. I have been churning any quest with experience bonus or companion bonus tokens for the last week only.
I used Bonesmith Heirmir 60, Plague Deviser Marileth 57, Emeni 52, Plaguey 59, and Rattlebag at 51. The numbers were close and I was actually surprised it was successful. But the two tanks seemed to hold their own.

The leveis on the missions are stupid. I put off bothering with this one until I was pretty much maxed out and now every time Krala comes around its level 66 which is seemingly impossible. Meanwhile it comes up on my alts constantly at level 60 and is easily beat.
