On each side of the boss room there are 3 anima canisters, as seen in this screenshot. You need to hit each one with a Volatile Ejection in order to shatter it. There's no time limit to it so it's fine if you break one at a time, or even miss them entirely. Our group got 3 per cast with 30 people in normal, and we had some success in hitting more than one at a time on occasion, but mostly took things slow.

We pulled the boss to one side first, broke the 3 canisters there and then moved to the other side after the Consume cast and broke the other 3. There's no range limit to them though, so you can break any canister from anywhere provided the person or people picked by it get to the canister in time.

We marked the six anima canisters (three on each side, hard to miss) so we could easily run to them. All that needs to happen is people with Volatile Ejection aim the beams at the canisters. It can take multiple hits break a canister. Doubling up will likely still kill people unless they pop a personal, so take it slow.

Not SOLOABLE, at least not with a warrior in Dragonflight. Boss casts tons of debuffs, one that does not allow you to heal yourself.

Just solo'd as a 480 prot paladin, VERY hard/awkward.
Bubble does not work, but any absorb does slow down your health loss (I had Bulwark of Order, Fyrakk's Tainted Rageheart, and from the new Incandescence helm: Protective Flames )
Killed ~16% of his health for every container he destroys.
Popped CDs and killed him with 15% health left on 2nd attempt.

Soloable as a prot warrior. I'm a fury main, 480 ilvl, but I had blue 437 weapon/shield from the AH in my bags. This brought me to like 473 prot ilvl.

Pull boss to the anima things, tank him infront of them. Use only shield slam for rage, and shield block/ignore pain. Your rage bar should always be empty as you use ignore pain as a filler between shield block.
You should be able to slowly dmg him down as you generate rage off of him for mitigation. By the time I got to the last anima cell I was at like 50% and he was around 20%. Super easy, one shot.

I was barely able to solo it with 477 BM Hunter.
Pet tank in the middle of the room and I was rotating the canisters.
I used Feign Death as much as possible to avoid being hit by Overwhelm most of the time.

For the last Volatile Ejection, I used Aspect of the Turtle.
I also used Marksman's Advantage from Venthyr Convenant to reduce damage by 9% (they still work in SL).
Slowly DPS boss to around 5-10% before the last canister to be ready for the kill

If you're struggling to survive the boss, make sure to swap over to necrolord and grab Fleshcraft as it's still useable in Shadowlands zones. Absorb shields completely ignore the healing reduction and the shield is %hp based so it's massive.
