Buzzer Beater is made during Void Ritual phase, rituals always happen when the boss reaches 100 on the energy bar. To join in Void Ritual you need three players positioned at the fire marks around the boss.
To eliminating a Void Orb you need move the orb to Open Portal. When the orb touches an open portal it is consumed by the Void, dispersing harmlessly.
So, if you have DBM or similar addon just watch the timer and return the Void orb with less than 3 seconds remaining on Voidwoken.
Every Void Ritual have 1 void orb, so you need 3 Void Ritual to complete the achievement.

Seems to be bugged on live atm. Did it in a full premade group and all of our trackers said we had done it correctly but the achievement did not pop.

EDIT: Just did it again and got it! Had to do it 4 times. Every time we got to phase. The debuff ran out once and it still counted.

Good way to tell if you've put the Void Orb in under 3 seconds is confetti will explode from the hole.

Just to add...
You have to put the orb in the hole, with between 1 and 3 seconds remaining on your buff to get the confetti to trigger (for the achy)

The first couple of our attempted goals did not pop confetti, but were made when our buffs had run out.

Couple notes:
- For the most part, we just had everyone in the group sat there doing nothing, while a couple of us dealt with the orb. Then nuked the boss once all 3 were done.

- We got the orb into position, then had 1 sit in front of the goal, and bounce it back and forth a short distance while waiting for the timer... once it got to 4 or 5 seconds, the one sat in the goal would move away so it would score. The orb is kinda slow, so it took a good couple seconds to float into the goal.

- You really do see a kind of confetti spell effect pop on successful goals in the timer, in multiple colours (yellow, black and purple is what I recall).

- There is a pretty lengthy berserk timer, so don't rush it. We derped with our first 2 goals, then got the following 3 done correctly (so 5 orbs into the fight...). Nothing was really hurting us or causing a problem... not even the cones you normally dodge

Easy solo in Dragonflight if you're a fast boi. Just soak void ritual and ping-pong the ball back and forth with yourself near the gate until you get to 3 seconds left on your debuff, then knock it in. Repeat 3 times. You can also take as many tries as you want, it doesn't have to be 3 in a row.

This might be easy to solo if you are a fast class, but if you lack a ton of mobility boosts on short cds then it is difficult to keep up with the orbs.

On my hunter I created a speed set with crafted gear from SL. I added the "pure-air sail extensions" to each piece I got. I think this got me up to about 12% speed + cunning pet + aspect of the cheetah + an on-use speed boost trinket that I found in my bank and I eventually got the achievement. I tried to save aspect of the cheetah and the trink for "emergencies". I think you can probably do without all of these things but I was really sick of trying for the achieve and wanted it to go as smoothly as possible when I eventually did muster the determination to go back in.

I just did this again with no speed anything and no mobility cooldowns used. The trick is to ping pong it at the start with really wide hits before lining up a shot from downtown with a little over 10 seconds left. I hit the ball 4 total times, so three times to stall and then the final shot. Just look for confetti to know if you got it in in time.

My exact timings were:

Wait until 28-29s to do the first hit to another side of the room
Knock it back towards the start at 21-22s
Knock it back towards said side of the room at 16-17s
Fire longshot goal at 10-11s

These timings got me 3 in a row, but you can adjust if they don't work for you.

Easy Solo Achievement for Level 70 Dragonflight, Level 80 Worldsoul Saga.

1. Normal Difficulty.

2. Begin fight, reduce boss health to 50%. If a pet class, keep boss aggro on your pet, much easier.

3. When boss spawns the 3 circles on the ground nearby, step in one.

4. You are now Voidwoken and you'll see a timer on your debuff.

5. You have to now direct a void ball into the opposite gate from which it spawns between 3 and 1 seconds remaining.

6. Bounce the void ball between yourself until you get to a comfortable time, usually 5-8 seconds remaining, and then launch it at the gate within that 3 and 1 second window of Voidwoken time remaining.

7. When the ball hits the gate at the correct time, you will see a small confetti explosion from the center.

8. Rinse & repeat two more times.

9. Nuke boss.

10. ?

11. Profit. Achievement Completed.
